The HAA is the only official voice of the Australian Helicopter Industry that other organizations (such as CASA, Air Services, other Federal, State and Local Governments) approach and listen to. We are a not for profit professional trade association dedicated to the development of the Australasian helicopter industry.
The formation of the Helicopter Association of Australia
as it now exists came in about 1982, following a meeting at Bankstown Airport
a committee was appointed to draft a constitution and register the Helicopter

HAA Aircrew Logbooks have hit the HAA store. These logbooks are the new industry standard and definitely have the looks to match. They are the result of feedback from a wide range of members and, especially for aircrewman, they fill an important hole in the market.

New Gold Coast Paragliding Operator A new paragliding operator is active in the Broadwater area on the Gold Coast. Operations will take place in airspace shared with local helicopters. A flyer detailing operating area, heights and contact details is available on request from HAA.
